Privacy policy

This policy explains how your personal data is processed when you use the Kukurigo mobile app, under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU and UK GDPR.

What we process

• Account: email address, a one-way hash of your password, username, optional display name, avatar choices.
• Age: date of birth. Under-15s can't sign up; under-18s are never shown personalised ads.
• Location: only the province and the country you choose to represent. We don't use your phone's location. To confirm the country you're in, we record the country your connection comes from and your app store's country.
• Gameplay: the games you play, moves, times, scores, rankings, lobby memberships, coin and purchase records.
• Preferences: notification and privacy settings, your ad consent.
• Ads: Google AdMob serves ads; your device's advertising ID is used only if you allow personalised ads (and, on iOS, tracking).

Why

• To create your account and run the game (performance of the contract).
• To build rankings, lobbies, leagues and province tables (performance of the contract).
• To prevent cheating and keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
• To show ads; personalised ads only with your consent.
• To meet legal obligations (age limits, record keeping).

Who we share it with

• Other players: your username, avatar, scores and province appear in the tables. In Ayarlar (Settings) you can hide yourself from the province table or turn on incognito mode.
• Service providers: hosting (Railway, European Union), email (Resend), ads (Google AdMob), website (Cloudflare), app stores (Apple, Google).

Some of these providers are outside Türkiye; transfers abroad follow Article 9 of the KVKK, based on [standard contractual clauses / explicit consent].

How long we keep it

As long as your account is open. When you delete it, everything that identifies you is removed straight away; scores stay in the tables without your name. Records with a legal retention period (such as purchases) are kept for that period.

Ads and consent

Ads only appear outside the game, at unscored moments. Change your personalised-ads consent any time in Ayarlar → Kişiselleştirilmiş reklam onayı (Settings → Personalised ads consent). In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form is shown as well and can be reopened from Ayarlar → Gizlilik seçenekleri (Settings → Privacy options).

Your rights

To use your rights (access, correction, deletion, objection and the others under KVKK Article 11 or the GDPR), write to destek@kukurigo.app. We reply within 30 days. To delete your account, see Support.

Children

Kukurigo isn't for children under 15 and doesn't knowingly collect their data.
